Brothers/Pledges in Attendance: Ben, Josh, Brian, Adrienne, Erica, Aaron, Kim, Andrew, Jim, Paul, & Dave
Convened at like 7pm or something…let’s just say we were distracted by a bit of dancing with...“accessories”. Ben’s a good sport. :-)
President:
1.Overnighter was fantastic. Thanks to Jim, Josh, and Kim for their work in planning and organizing the event.
2.The new calendars are out and posted in the office for your viewing pleasure…if that’s what you’re into…
SVP:
1.The service project at Overnighter went very well, and we greatly exceeded the expectations of the museum, as indicated in the email. Great job everyone!
2.Some upcoming events: 3/26—Helping set up for the Rensselaer Boys’/Girls’ Club Auction; 4/1—Habitat for Humanity Project.
MVP: Josh is in the process of determining his nominations for PRB Chairships.
FVP:
1.Kim will send out an email with the complete Family Feud results.
2.There will be bowling this Wednesday, at 7pm. A signup sheet is in the office.
3.Check the calendar!!!
Treasurer: As of 10:30am on Monday, 3/7, the Dow is up 13.45 points (+.12%), the NASDAQ climbing by a solid 1% margin of 20.54 points, and Standard & Poor is looking good with a 3.62 point increase, or +.30%...
RecSec: You can’t make this stuff up.
CorSec:
1.Cards for Fed and Rev will be up in the office for signing. Both have suffered losses in the family, so please give them your support through these hard times.
2.Keep in mind that the deadline for saving $5 in signing up for sectionals is 3/11. Afterwards, the current price of $35 will jump to $40.
3.Erica will be getting a newsletter out soon. This time around, she is asking for opinions, in addition to articles. In other words, “what did you think about [INSERT EVENT HERE]?”.
Historian: Today in History, March 7th Edition: Daniel Webster endorses the Compromise of 1850, Alexander Graham Bell patents the telephone (1876), and the discovery of the South Pole is announced by Roald Amundsen (1912).
SAA: The gnomes will be in negotiations throughout the week to settle territorial disputes…a truce has been declared momentarily as they examine the current condition of the “Great Artifact”…
Old Business: MMOC is coming! A T-Shirt design will be posted shortly. Additionally, in the running for this year are the infamous Gateway and the evil, life-draining Greene Building. Also, a motion was made and passed to use $20 from the SVP budget to cover MMOC copy charges.
New Business: Apparently, we’re trapped in the past.
Announcements:
1.Icicles! Hooray! Dave has icicles!
2.Jim may have to “take care of” FIX if they don’t show up to 34 soon…
3.Um…anyone want to join the CAVE?
4.Just to reiterate: PLEASE post business on the forums…actually, just do it. Forget that I made it sound slightly optional.
Adjourned at 7:27.
