Convened at 7:00pm
President: The chapter has won the Joseph Scanlon Certificate of Merit. Shaun has the information about Nationals and will post it on the bulletin board in the office. See him for award criteria if you're applying for an award. There will be a VP meeting this week to complete the November calendar and the H. Roe Bartle application. Ten minutes of each Ecomm meeting this semester will be devoted to discussing risk management.
SVP: On Saturday we will have a booth at Fall Fest for candied apples and pumpkin decorating. Apple picking will be on Wednesday at 2pm. Tomorrow night Nicole needs help washing the pumpkins at Cynthia Smith's house.
MVP: BBLB is this Thursday. Meet at the office at 9:00 pm. Lists are due Tuesday at midnight. The next brotherhood meeting will be pre-PRB's, and after that will be PRB's. Tommy took a poll to see who was interested in study hours.
FVP: Mini-golf and Chinese food night were successes. All the other events, however, had poor turnout. If you have any concerns about an event that is scheduled, email Josh. Ultimate Frisbee is on October 20th, and laser tag will be on the 30th.
Treasurer: Adrienne presented an overview of treasury. There will be a treasury session Wednesday morning, and the treasury sessions will be every Friday or Wednesday. They will probably be on Friday after this week.
RecSec: There is a problem with minutes being emailed out on the brotherhood list because a lot of brothers are not receiving the emails. Tess will email the minutes to Alyssa so they will be available on the website.
CorrSec: Sectionals (Nov.5th-17th) registration must be mailed by friday.
Cost:
Conference only: $18
Banquet only: $19
Conference & Banquet: $35

Alternative option: Sign up for Serve. You must have attended a Launch. You can do so by signing up with douglasvanness@yahoo.com for a Launch course being held by the ADH chapter at SUNY Albany on October 30th. Cost: $25 including room (at Oasis Motel) & board and the Banquet. The deadline is October 15th, and there is a $30 late fee registration until October 29th. Life members get a $5 discount. Sign up online at http://www.leadership.apo.org/serve_reg.php. Directions are on the site.
If you are registering and paying by CD, you must notify David H. by Tuesday (tomorrow) before Adrienne does treasury.
Historian: Thanks for coming to the Community Gardens project. Fill out an active brother form if you haven't done so. Please take pictures at Fall Fest because Sasha will not be there.
OM: Tuesday's office hours will follow monday's schedule. The DTC book sale will be wednesday 11-5pm. Sign up in the office.
Old Business: Pros/Cons of hosting Regionals (see last week's Ecomm minutes) Additions to the list: con- It's not planned out yet and Albany hasn't considered things like cost and location. Pro- it could increase our popularity in the region. The discussion was tabled.
New Business: Alyssa took a straw poll to see how the chapter felt about allowing alumni to access the brothers only part of the website. It was agreed upon that the alumni will be allowed to have usernames and passwords. A motion was made to vote by acclamation to make Alyssa and Shaun the voting delegates for Nationals. The motion was passed and the vote was unanimous.
Announcements: An OM section will be added to the suggestion book. Goldmember, the movie shown at Chinese food night, is not a Chinese movie. There will be a Star Wars marathon at 34 (even though 3 of 4 people living there aren't aware). Today is Canadian Thanksgiving Day. Shaun bought Aladdin, so there will be a random movie night to show it.
Adjourned at 7:40.
