Monday 10/8 Brotherhood meeding
President Report:
Went to MIT this past weekend for their equivalent of sectionals
The best thing that was learned at that meeting was that EZ rocks!!!!
SVP:
Mondays service project: Went very well, got a lot of the work done for
the girls home and had a great turn out of 15 people.
Overnighter: This coming weekend. The service project will consist of
inside work and probably raking leaves and yard work.
Cookie making will take place on Wednesday before parents weekend.
Cookie selling will be on the Saturday of family weekend
Money from the cookie selling will tentatively be going to the Children’s
Museum based on the vote that will take place at the next brotherhood meeting.
MVP:
BBLB will take place this week between Wednesday and Friday
Talk to Erica about tree events if you are interested
Candle passing will take place at overnighter
FVP:
Hiking: bad turnout so ended up having breakfast together instead
Family Feud Questions: answer them please
Pool Party will take place in the 87 gym next Friday from 6-8
Iron Chef is coming up, follow your email, Key ingredient is going to be
food coloring
Volleyball game this past weekend was amazing, we won, GO TEAM!!
Play ultimate Frisbee on the weekends woot.
Treasurer:
Membership dues are due on November 1st. They will be $32 you can use your CD
Rush receipts still need to be signed and posted on the treasury board
please take care of them
If you are interested in treasury training talk to sovan

Cor Sec.:
Deadline for next newsletter is the 12th for articles
Theme of this next newsletter is going to be super heros- read the email
Sectionals is going to be November 2-4th deadline to sign up is the 16th
of October.
Regional’s is going to be in Allentown, Pennsylvania deadline to sign up
for that is December 3rd email pending
Historian:
Give any pictures to Christine that you have
Pledge class composite is up in the office
Family trees are currently being updated
SAA:
Armory run on Wednesday @3
If you need a sleeping bad for overnighter talk to Emil about it he will
get them from the armory
OM:
Nothing new to report
Keep the desk clean for the challenge for the month and we may get a flat
screen monitor for the office.
Business:
Cookie baking funds: a lot of organizations were considered and the
children’s museum looked like a good candidate. They said that they
didn’t need any more volunteers there but what they really needed was
money and asked if we could do a fundraiser. Approval pending on the
next brotherhood meeting
MVP unbudgeted event: $8 for each pledge so a motion for $96 to be added
to the MVP budget. Discussion took place this week and voting will be at
the next brotherhood meeting as well
MMOC- Do we want to do it next semester? Discussion took place this
week. Voting on it at the next brotherhood meeting.
Annoucments:
Paul has been given more tampons to donate from the Albany College of Pharmacy
Iron chef will take place on October 28th at 4pm
The theme ingredient is food coloring
Nationals will be in boston this coming year if you are interested talk
to Wally
BBLB DISCUSSION:
Lists have been received by Erica and Paul
Expectation of a Big- set a good example to your little, be active and
around for them, encourage them to be a role model as well, keep it a
positive experience, don’t try to create a clone of yourself, share you
pledges . Don’t be afraid to learn from them,
BBLB will take place this week
PRB’s will be the week of the 21st
Initiation will take place on December 1st.
